Guerin Swing
Guerin Swing grew up in the Design business in Los Angeles. He is a third generation Interior Designer who has made his living with his artistic designs and installations. After Guerin completed Design School, he taught many classes and seminars at local universities and colleges, and was very well received. He began his design career being asked to showcase and lend his expertise in many of the local Interior Design Houses.
Since then, Guerins designs have been seen on or in E! Entertainment Television, Entertainment Tonight, MTV Cribs, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Geraldo Rivera, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, 944 Magazine, The Enquirer, People Magazine, Angeleno Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, Flaunt Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, and many other local shows, newspapers, and periodicals.
In addition to being an Artist and Designer, Guerin is also a member of the Set Painters Union (Local 729) and a licensed contractor. (#827093) Because of these factors, Guerin is often asked to do historical renovations in and around California, such as the Roosevelt Hotel. He specializes in custom finishes, and has been asked by top distribution companies of his mediums to come teach their employees how to best utilize their products.
Guerin has completed multiple projects on the Famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood, and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, including Bvlgari, Ballys Clothing, Le Dome, Katana, Chi at the Sunset Hyatt, Clafoutis, and the above-mentioned famous Roosevelt Hotel. Other projects include the Chrome Hearts Showroom, Mediterraneo Restaurant, The Pig and Whistle, The Sunset Room, Bastide Restaurant, Ivy by the Shore, Radisson Huntley Hotel, Concorde Club, and The White Lotus, The Westlake Valley Inn Lobby, Bar, and Restaurant, and H.Wood Nightclub & Restaurant. Most recently Guerin completed the European Galleries at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA.), & Delphine Brasserie in the W Hotel.
In closing, Guerin has collaborated with many top Designers and Architects, both in and out of the Los Angeles area, including local favorites, Dodd Mitchell, Thomas Schoos, and International Phenomenon, Andree Putnam.
